About ME

Hello!

I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI. My primary teaching responsibilities are  General Psychology and Applied Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences. I also teach rotating electives in Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, and Neuroscience.

As a teacher, I emphasize collaboration, accessibility, and evidence based practice in order to improve equity in the classroom. I am dedicated to improving my teaching by learning about the best ways that college students learn by attending teaching conferences and following my favorite colleagues on social media. Click here for more on the courses I teach or my teaching philosophy.

I attended graduate school at the University of Texas at El Paso (Go Miners!). While there I completed my Masters of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology and my Doctorate of Philosophy in General Psychology, with a concentration in Social Cognitive Neuroscience. I also completed a graduate certificate in Quantitative Methods. My primary research interests are in moral psychology and stereotypes. Click here for more on my research and ongoing projects.
